The first season of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 depicted the relationship between Saji Crossroad and Louise Halevy http://zoeticx.com/peter-parker-was-a-teenager-living-with-his-aunt-may/, as they were depicted as two civilians who see how the world is affected with Celestial Being’s mission to “unite” the world by conflict and both ultimately suffer as a result of it. In season two, however, you can argue that this gets bloated, as Louise becomes the warrant officer for the A LAWS and Saji Crossroad joins Celestial Being to co pilot the 00 Raiser. To turn it into a Love Triangle is Andrei Smirnov, who is infatuated with Louise and will also do anything to protect her. This doesn’t affect the story as much as others, but it did eat away screentime that could’ve been devoted for, say, Allelujah battling (and accepting) his alter ego or showing the development of Nena Trinity.
Angrish: Egoraptor loves to chain smash cuts one after another, usually when his speech gets incoherent. Interestingly enough, he seems to invert this trope more often then he plays it straight; his NNNYYYYAAAARRRRGHHHs occur most frequently when he is explaining what a game did right. Annoying Video Game Helper: invokedParodied in the Mega Man X episode, with Roll. Art Evolution: Between the Mega Man X video and the Legend of Zelda video, he got more people to help with animation, and as such appears a bit different, sporting a new outfit. Broken Aesop: As discussed by Roahm Mythril here, Arin’s argument in the Mega Man episode that the Hopeless Boss Fight against Vile in the intro stage is supposed to motivate the player to get stronger and defeat Vile falls apart considering what actually happens when facing Vile again even with all weapons and upgrades, the player is still forced to lose until Zero blows up his Ride Armor and the player fights him on foot, giving off the impression that the player beats Vile not because they got stronger, but because he got weaker, making one wonder if X would’ve been able to beat Vile initially if he didn’t have his Ride Armor. What’s more, both times Vile’s attacks can be dodged indefinitely, and Vile can be hit so many times that he should lose, but doesn’t because the plot demands it. Call Back: In the Mega Man episode of Lemon ‘n Bill, Lemon seems to think that Mega Man’s shots are actually lemons. Flash forward two years to the Mega Man X episode, when Egoraptor is pretending to hold the Idiot Ball and is trying to figure out the controls. He finally finds the fire button and proclaims “YEAH! LEMONS!” Cluster F Bomb: The man drops 176 F bombs by the end of his fourth episode. Some of them are here for your viewing pleasure. “I know you’re not a stupid kid, ’cause I say “FUCK” a lot and you’re okay with that.”.
